Automotive Scanner16 Dec 2005 12:24 GMT1
I am looking to buy a scanner,  Recently I owned a SnapOn Solus, but I don't

Asians, and the rest European.  I am wondering if the solus is the best buy.

Mopar Follies (was: easiest engine)16 Dec 2005 07:07 GMT269
I have no beef against DaimlerChrysler, FoMoCo or General Motors. In

However it's been brought to my attention that some consider Chrysler
Corp. engineering without peer or flaw. All I can say is, bullshit.

Getting a fair insurance settlement after a car is totaled15 Dec 2005 06:35 GMT3
My wife's 1999 Chevy Prizm was just totaled.  Luckily, she was not
injured.  Car has about 55,000 miles on it and was in excellent
condition mechanically & cosmetically.  The one time I have had
experience with this following my mother's totaling of her car, the
Celica Drinking Oil (Is this even possible)15 Dec 2005 00:14 GMT10
I'm a young driver, I know some but not a lot about cars. I got a
celica about 3 months ago. It has 150K miles ago, the owner said he had
to add a quart every once in a while..and we believed him..apparently
were idiots. The car drives perfectly, I am very happy with its
Diag Trouble Codes - Changing Thresholds14 Dec 2005 18:17 GMT27
I recently purchased Digimoto OBDII Vehicle Diagnostic Software. I have
a 1999 Toyot 4-Runner. The Check Engine light has been on for a few
weeks. Using Digimoto, I was able to find the cause (Catalytic
Converter Flow Threshold Exceeded) and clear the DTC. I am certain that
"Jack rabbit" starts give best mileage14 Dec 2005 18:12 GMT19
I was reading in the Bosch Gasoline Engine Management book tips for
improving fuel efficiency, and was surprised to see wide throttle
acceleration recommended, at least up to 2000 RPM, when you are
supposed to change gears.
condenstion on windows14 Dec 2005 16:55 GMT11
My Geo metro has had, for the last week or so since it's been very cold

yesterday I've noticed there is smoke/steam(?) coming ever so slightly
