1994 Buick Century-strange problem29 Jan 2006 22:45 GMT4
I have recently had problems with a 1994 Buick Century, 6 cyl, with approx
100K miles.  It seems like these problems could be symptoms created by
another problem, but I'm just guessing.  Any advice would be greatly
apprecaited.
Help fixing a Code Alarm security system29 Jan 2006 01:27 GMT4
My Code Alarm car security system just died. I can still lock all doors
with the keyless remote but, the remote can't be used to unlock the
doors. I can hear a click noise from under the dash (drivers side) but,
it won't unlock the doors. I tried using a spare set of keyless remotes

Long story short, I went off-roading today and after I ran through a
mud pit (wasn't very deep, maybe up to the wheel hubs) and I think I
killed my alternator and messed up my charging system on my 97 Jeep ZJ
4.0L. My volt gauge normally sits at 14 and after running a mud pit it
Fuel Vaporization and fuel economy28 Jan 2006 15:29 GMT48
Hi, my name's Cody and I think I'll make this place a regualr hangout.
I'm 16 and have been driving for over 9 months. School is about 12
miles from my house. I drive a Dodge Neon so gas isn't that bad of a
problem, though I'd like to get better gas mileage. I stumbled on this
Lubricating new distributor cap - good or bad idea?28 Jan 2006 14:35 GMT5
I was wondering if its a good idea to put a bit of grease (to reduce wear)
on a new distributor cap where the spring loaded graphite rod touches the
rotor.
Or maybe that is a very bad idea.
1991 Chevrolet Cavalier28 Jan 2006 13:56 GMT2
My 91 cavalier 2.2ltr 5 speed quits running sometimes everyday once a day or
even 3 times per day or once a week.  After waiting 5 minutes, it starts back
and away I go.  Sometimes it stalls while driving down the road, but because
it is in gear it starts itself back up after 15 ...

Hi - me again.
After 'Lugnuts' advice I decided against the motorhome with the old 6v92
engine but I have spooted this one (among about 200 others)
I've spent about two days reading up on Detroit Deisels so what happens? The
3.1 Chevy V-6 M motor..........28 Jan 2006 05:45 GMT5
I changed the head gaskets on my 99 Malibu. I had the heads checked and
were resurfaced. I changed the plugs, wires put it back together and
now it won't start. It sounds like the engine is out of time. I have
checked the plug wires and all are correct according to the chilton

Interesting site28 Jan 2006 02:20 GMT16

I found some interesting reading here, including suspension, oil, etc.
The site owner seems to give more documentation than many.
Hope you find it worthwhile.
SUV With Longest FLAT Area Between Tailgate and Dash27 Jan 2006 16:49 GMT3
Are there any SUV's in which BOTH the front passenger and rear
passenger seats folds down flat in such a way that there is an
unobstructed flat area between dash and tailgate? I want to put
a 9' 4" kayak INSIDE this vehicle. (Yes, I know all about roofracks.)
97 Dodge ram 1500 transmission problems27 Jan 2006 15:24 GMT7
My 97 dodge ram 1500 has been making odd noises in reverse for the last
few years, though it didn't seem to affect anything and I very rarely
drive it (I've put 18,000 miles on it in 5 years) but the check engine
light has been on for a while so we sent it in to get it checked out,
Nissan Altima 2000 Automatic Transmission Recall?27 Jan 2006 03:10 GMT1
The automatic transmission on my Nissan Altima 2000 (137,000 km) had a
glitch the other day. It wouldn't engage in reverse fully one morning
at zero degrees Celsius outside and I got stuck in my driveway.
I pushed it around in neutral, and it would go forward without any
Buying a rental vehicle?27 Jan 2006 00:19 GMT17
Any thoughts on buying a Dodge or Toyota minivan that was a rental
vehicle?  I have to assume that from mile zero the thing was not
properly "broken in" according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
I like to keep vehicles until they are basically worthless, so is this
