I've tried the appropriate newsgroups, but can't get an answer pertaining to
a '96 Jeep Cherokee Country. Hopefully, someone here has an idea. For the
life of me, I can't locate the blower speed resistor. I only have max speed,
and would like to check the resistor before tackling ...

Wierd Brake Line Hardware07 Feb 2006 22:50 GMT8
I was wondering if anyone might know where I can go to get some
abnormal hydraulic brake hardware...I don't even know if these exist,

Carb and Cam question07 Feb 2006 19:06 GMT5
Working on carb problems and in reading a common comment is you need to
enlarge jets if you change to a larger cam (higher lift and longer
duration).  Since the carb just mixes fuel with air as is passes by, why
would you need to add more fuel just because of how long the valve is ...
Car destruct sequence?07 Feb 2006 18:32 GMT32
I was wondering about a self destruct system for a car that would be
used to transport sensitive documents or items that could cause serious
problems if they fall into the wrong hands. Sort of like the ability to
scuttle a ship when it's being taken over and there's no hope.

Last week I reported a problem with a 98 Pontiac Grand Am that is starting

Pop it in D1 on an automatic while driving?07 Feb 2006 08:31 GMT11
How bad and detrimental is it on your vehicle to do this?
I had a '91 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a Quad 4 2.3L DOHC engine,
and my friend used to make me slam it in 1st on the hwy at 45 mph
'just' to challenge other people, and I would get sudden speedups to
2002 Taurus - Front defroster.....No Air!07 Feb 2006 02:28 GMT3
My 2002 Taurus front defroster is not working.  The blower motor is
strong, but no air is hitting the inside windshield.  I sprayed contact
cleaner on the controller switch which did not help.  I tried looking
under the dash but I can not locate the air flow diverter.  Any ideas?

I have a 1990 geo metro and I am giving it a tune up. To my dismay the

underside of the hood) All my manual's say refer to this while doing
the tune-up.

I have a '99 S10 truck that has a battery drain of about .640 amps as

the glove box and under hood lights and can't find any that stay on.
I've pulled fuses and have found one that is marked tbc that drops the
