Marquis shift linkage06 Feb 2006 20:13 GMT1
My '94 Grand Marquis is not shifting into gear accurately from park. It
will get into gear and drive just fine, but the shift lever kinda seems
loose. From googling, I see that there's a shift linkage lever or tube
or some cable that runs from the lever to the trans. Is that right?
Dodge Neon - battery drainage06 Feb 2006 20:05 GMT2
Is there any known issue with 2000 Neon and its battery usage? I bought
a 4dr 2000 Neon around the middle of 1999. The battery that came with
the car drained even before the warranty period was over. I got a free
replacement but even that one has now drained in 4 years. I never keep
Tiny windshield crack06 Feb 2006 19:33 GMT19
I bought a used car yesterday.  I guess I should have test driven it in the
sunshine, because today I found a 1/8" crack in the windshield.
Any chance it won't get any worse?
Can it be fixed?
1995 chevy lumina temp. reading06 Feb 2006 18:38 GMT5
I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina, and every so often my temp reading in the
car shows that the car is running hot, even sometimes in the morning
when I first start the car. There are no leaks of any steam coming from
the radiator or the engine. The hot light will stay on for about 5 min
Question on interference engine failure, does this sound right?06 Feb 2006 18:26 GMT47
I've got a 1995 mitsubishi galant.  One owner, one driver, always garaged.
Was used as a highway commuter for half it's life, and the other half it
mostly sat in the garage (weekend ONLY runabout).  It has been extremely
well maintained.  Up until last week, it still looked and ...
1994 s-10 electrical help needed06 Feb 2006 17:47 GMT16
1994 s-10 purchased used. Had a bad rear view mirror switch so I
replaced it.  First time using the new switch, it too went bad.
I check the power and I am getting power from what appears to be 2
sources.  This would be on the orange wire to the switch.  I say this
Serpentine belt replacement with *newest design* belt?05 Feb 2006 23:19 GMT12
I went to pep boys today to buy a replacement serpentine belt for my
vulcan V6 182 cu inch, with air conditioning.
So what I end up with is a Dayco, lists for $56, got it for $35.  Now,
the reason I am listing this post is because this is a cogged
bonding agent instead of welding-quarter panel replacement 67 Camaro05 Feb 2006 22:21 GMT4
We are having the quarter panels replaced on a 1967 Camaro due to some
damage in the wheel areas.
The shop that is going to do the work is asking if we would allow them
to use a bonding agent and overlap the seam area at the top of the

Why no rear-engine RWD cars anymore?05 Feb 2006 17:22 GMT40
My first car (a Renault Gordini) was RWD and had the engine where the trunk of modern
cars are. From an engineering standpoint, this is the simplest configuration.
Is there a reason for it being abandoned? (I know that Ferrari, etc still use it).
