Somebody gave me this car. It just gave out on them. A mechanic told

And a few generic questions I have for the gang.
First, my good ole' alignment shop nailed the problem. No bearings or
bent axles - just a left rear to they said was "waaaaaay out".
Specifically, it was -0.68 deg.  Spec is .10 to .20 degrees on both

Cracked VW unibody frame23 Feb 2006 16:39 GMT12
I would appreciate some information on how to repair a crack in the
frame of a VW Cabriolet. I understand this car has unibody
construction. The crack simply appeared, there was no accident or
impact.

BlueHeat23 Feb 2006 15:00 GMT4
Grabbed a BlueHeat brochure tonight at the Toronto Auto Show. It appears to
be a small gas powered heater that is installed in your vehicle so that it
provides near instant heat and engine warm up.  Anybody out there heard
and/or has experience of it?
1990 Jeep Cherokee23 Feb 2006 14:43 GMT1
I have a '90 Jeep Cherokee that won't start. When I turn the key to the
"start" position, nothing happens except for the temp. gauge needle
goes all the way to the right. The battery tests at 12.5V, and there is
no "click" from the starter. I tested the voltage at the ignition wire
Hooking up dual igition coil.23 Feb 2006 13:44 GMT17
I came across this dual coil and dual ignition module kit. The price is
around a thousand dollar. This sound way too expensive. I want to build
one for my own vehicle but I not sure if the secondary output of the two
coils should be tied together. For instance, if I tie the ...

Why wouldn't 3,000 lumen halogen lamp be legal?22 Feb 2006 21:47 GMT3
So from what I hear, DOT specifications have restrictions on the output
and allowable power consumption by each lamp type.
If the 3,000 lumen HIDs are given the ok, why wouldn't an adequately
cooled, 150W incandescent lamp be allowed for headlamp use?

1965 Impala Ingnition Switch installation22 Feb 2006 00:37 GMT2
This is probably a very dumb question but I can't find instructions on
the web on how to install an ingnition switch in an older GM vehicle. I
