Wiring driving lights to come on with highbeams21 Feb 2006 15:57 GMT23
I just installed a pair of driving lights on my '99 Accord and wanted
to wire them to come on with my highbeams. I spliced into one of the
leads for one of the highbeam bulbs and used that as the trigger for a
relay. Problem is, the driving lights come on with my low beams. What

Sell or fix?  Please help soon!21 Feb 2006 01:26 GMT5
I've got a situation without the expertise or money to handle it.
I have a 1995 Mazda 626 that I haven't driven in over a year.  It was
given to me, so the investment was zero.  Before I started having
problems, it ran fairly well but was cutting out... I'd had a tune up
Ethanol and CO220 Feb 2006 21:39 GMT17
A recent article I read had the author stating that the burning of
ethanol creates significantly less CO2 than the burning of gasoline.
This surprises me.  I know it produces less CO, but it seems to me that
it should not produce that much less CO2.

Transmission Leak ????  TH35020 Feb 2006 19:50 GMT5
This is a 1970 Cutlass that originally had a 2 bbl carb so  I assume it is a
TH350 tranny.  Have fluid dripping from the back end of tranny but after
wiping everthing dry, it is dripping from the inside of the U-joint, between
the yoke and the cross if I am describing this right ...
car stutters on acceleration20 Feb 2006 18:57 GMT6
Got a 66 mustang with a rebuilt 289 and a holley carb.  A few weeks
ago, I experienced a weird problem where, when I accelerated, the car
started to stutter.  I had about 25% the power I should have due to the
stuttering.  It would run smooth when just driving, but whenever I

1982 Toyota Starlet electrical problems20 Feb 2006 03:29 GMT2
I purchased this car about a year ago after it had been sitting in
impound. I have had consistent problems such as the battery draining
when the car is not used for more than a day, the engine fuse
occasionally snaps disabling the alternator, and sometimes the car
1999 Nissan Altima Steering Pump Questions20 Feb 2006 03:14 GMT1
My 1999 Nissan Altima power steering pump is whining and it smells like
something is burning.  I have a new pump on order and it will arrive in
about 5 days.  The idler bearing also went out last week and I had a
mechanic replace the idler bearing, but not the power steering pump.  ...
