Checking Coolant With Engine Running, No Radiator Cap15 Feb 2006 18:55 GMT9
The engine is a Chevy 1990 3.1 L with 200,000 + miles on it. I wanted
to check the flow of coolant in my radiator, and top it off once the
thermostat opened. .I removed the radiator cap from the cold engine,
and stated it up, waiting for the thermostat to open.
Ford Escape Hybrid -- realistic mileage?15 Feb 2006 18:02 GMT3
I'm looking at the Ford Escape Hybrid as an alternative to something like
the Toyota Rav-4 or Subaru Forester.  My wife has a first-generation Prius
and loves it.  I would buy a second Prius, but I really need something with
a bit more cargo space.

I've a Toyota Cressida GLX'91 with 140k on it. The engine was heating

problem to the lack of a hole in the thermostat, so he drilled one in.
He says that even distribution of heat on the engine happens due to the
Ford contour heating14 Feb 2006 21:21 GMT3
I had to run my defroster after a big rain in my area, and ever since
the selector will not go out of defrost (1998 Contour GL). The knob
moves as it should, but only defrost vents operate. The A/C works fine,
but only from the defrost vents.  I have a day off coming up and if

I have a typical nose heavy compact wagon and want to move the battery
from the engine compartment, to the rear of the vehicle.  I have two

If anyone can offer any advice on what problem my little Tercel is

The deal is that EVERY time I start the car I have to turn the key
somewhere between 100 and 250 times. It didn't use to be this bad. When
