slick 50, mpt, mg, and others, do these anti-friction agents help in any
way to reduce friction, increase fuel mileage?
do the motor oil people add any of the above type friction agents to the
oil?

1992 Toyota pickup.  After driving 15 minutes in light traffic at
moderate speeds, Temperature is at redline, popping sound comes from

  I just changed the oil and filter on my gf's 96 Nissan Sentra
(170,000 miles) and now the oil light comes on after the engine is

I posted this before (regarding an ATF leak down the shaft splines and out
the center of the U-joint yoke) and the answer was "leaking check valve in
torque conveter".  I assume this valve is inside the torque converter?  Is
this valve servicable or do I need to replace ...

Just got off the phone with the guy at "Smith's hot rod glass" and was
asking him a few questions about glass for my '55.  It seems like I
would actually save money buying from him rather than buying locally so

I redid the drum brakes on my 97 Ford E150 van, including new shoes,
wheel cylinders, springs, and drums.  I adjusted the star wheel
adjusters to maximum looseness, but the shoes are still alittle too
tight against the drum.  I had to pound on the drums with a mallet to

I just finished replacing the plugs and used a garden hose to pull them
out after they were unscrewed. I also used the hose to get them
started. The back center and back driver's side were the most difficult
