| suspension system for a custom racing wheel chassis | 23 Mar 2006 02:33 GMT | 1 |
I'm currently designing a racing wheel chassis that contains a racing seat, force feedback wheel, and gas/brake pedals. I plan on adding a device that uses the audio feed from a PC or console system to move a motor that attaches to the seat or other part of the unit and vibrate

| Does Pontiac GrandAM has 3.8 V6? | 22 Mar 2006 22:00 GMT | 2 |
Many people said GM's 3.8 V6 is the only V6 trustworthy. I could not find 3.8 in Grand AM line. Where is it used? in Malibu, which I feel is a bad designed car. All good reviews on Malibu are faked from GM.

Thinking of going into an Auto Tech course to prepare for the ASE certification. Can anyone tell me if it will be possible to find a job just out of school? I'm thinking it will be difficult and don't want to just end up with a debt and no job.

I was driving today and all of a sudden my oil pressure indicator went below the L. After a couple mins I could hear the valve train clicking. Stopping my oil level was ok, my temp ind ok, not burning any oil. When I start it back up I have oil pressure, but after about a mile, it

| How Long to Soak Oil Pickup in Kerosene ? | 22 Mar 2006 15:05 GMT | 16 |
I've read pro and con about using kerosene to desludge oil pans and oil pickup screens. If I were to do it, I would drain the oil, remove filter, pour just 2 quarts of kerosene into the oil filling hole, and let the kerosene cover the oil pickup for a few hours to dissolve any

My car has floating calipers. How easy should it be to slide them in and out? I need to apply a fair amount of force with both hands to move it (after unbolting the caliper from the hub). I used to have one of the sliders seized; about 6 months ago I

| sorta OT but not really - PayPal, lesson learned | 22 Mar 2006 01:37 GMT | 11 |
Don't bother trying to get your money back from Paypal when a deal goes bad. Might be better to use your credit card if you can, credit card cos. usually stand up for you. Paypal basically told me that I had to have a letter from an "expert" testifying to the condition etc. of ...

| Where to get good engine cleaning brushes? | 21 Mar 2006 18:33 GMT | 2 |
As I posted earlier, I think I will be tearing down the engine in my '55 Stude soon, not because there's any problem with the way it runs or oil pressure, but because it leaks far more oil than it burns and also because my friend has a steam cleaner/pressure washer that he's itching
