tip: if you are not aware of the pertinent needs of a vehicle to keep it operating without great / unnecessary expense - you would be ahead to create a maintenance schedule and abide by it. some might dote on their cars too much, but I'm talking about the things

I researched this and found some answers, but my problem may be a little different. I'm getting a shimmy when applying the brakes. The front rotors I replaced about 17000 highway miles ago(Brembo replacement rotors) and I put in ceramic pads. It's been fine till

I fill up when level drops less than half tank - costs less, and no worries about running low. Recently after driving longer distances, ran the level down lower, and after fill up - just my imagination? car seems to run better.

just what is a paraffin base oil, a sweet crude, sour crude, crude from oil city, pa., a light and/or heavy crude? anybody know? does it make any difference in the finished product as to which of the above crude motor oil is refined from?

The gas pumps where I normally trade are the same old ho - hum type, summer, winter, makes no difference, never a notice of change, but was in dallas this week-end and in filling up with unleaded reg. the pump had a sticker on it that read - this gasoline may contain up to 10%

Around where I live, most gas stations have ethanol-blended gas, for a lower price than normal gas. But my car is a 1978 Buick Regal (231 cc V6), uses a carburetor and was not designed for ethanol. Would using ethanol harm it in anyway?

Using a scangauge in a 97 avenger 4 cyl 5 speed. I'm getting 36 mpg tank avg on midgrade at about 60. I notice the Throttle position sensor reads 12 at idle, and foot on the floor is 75. Why wouldnt wide open throttle be 100??
