2000 Passat, clutch, too short?21 Apr 2006 14:21 GMT4
I am buying a used Passat. Everything is great, except the cluth. Not sure
if it is just this car.
I drove a 70's Jetta before, I have to push the cluth all the way down. The
gear box on Jetta (both 2000 and 1978) is so bad that I can not shift into

recommendation.

I think I already asked this question but can't remember if it was this group or the chevy ones
specifically.
I drive a 1993 chevrolet silverado stepside.  It's black on the exterior with chrome trim.  It's
been lowered 3" in the front and 4" in the rear.  Powered by a 350 with ...

I have a 1987 Chevy Silverado that is not getting power to the fuel
pumps.  It has duel tanks and neither of them are working.  I changed
the tank selector switch and checked all the fuses under the dash.  The
motor will turn over but no fuel no fire.  All other acc. work fine.

Idle RPM sensitivity to signalling?21 Apr 2006 02:54 GMT16
I have a 95 Grand Prix GTP, and if I'm signalling at idle (in gear, my
foot on the brakeat a dead stop) my RPM decreases by about 50 RPM when
the signal light is lit and cycles back up when it turns off and
continues during the periodicity of the signalling. My dash lights also
Help identifying leak20 Apr 2006 21:44 GMT17
I have a 1998 Pontiac TransPort Montana that just started leaking a
fairly clear viscous fluid.  Similar to the consistency if motor oil,
but almost clear with a light pinking hue.  If one is standing on the
driver side there are a couple of lines that are grouped together that
silverado engine maintenance20 Apr 2006 19:39 GMT2
I have a 02 chev silverado with 110 000 km.
Is there any engine maintenance I should do? A local radio show mentioned
changing the thermostat and O2 sensor every year but my manual says nothing
of this and plugs are not do until 166 000 km. I still have original air
Causes for a Dead Battery? Not sure why mine died...20 Apr 2006 18:55 GMT9
I am perplexed about my car's battery dying.  It died a few days ago
for no apparent reason, I had it jumped and it's re-charged and has
started fine each time since then.  I drive a 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara
with about 71,000kms.  Battery appears to be in great shape.
A/C: freon additives and the slow leak20 Apr 2006 18:08 GMT3
While surveying the local parts store I noticed A/C freon with additives
like lubricants and sealer.
Now it just so happens that I'm buying a van from a fellow who told me
he gets his system recharged annually because of a slow leak. And the
96 Buick Regal misfire, #4 cylinder20 Apr 2006 16:11 GMT7
