Tahoe gas gauge and engine stumble01 Jun 2006 00:26 GMT1
After driving my 99 Tahoe for a few miles, the gas gauge starts reading
erratically and the engine
starts to stumble.  The ABS light also comes on.  I have replaced the
VCM and the sending unit.  I have also checked all powers and grounds

Anyone have any experience with the manuals on CD that are offered on
eBay? I am looking for a manual for my 2000 F-150, and there are
several vendors offering them.
If anyone has tried them, I'd appreciate comments.

I have a thermostatic fan clutch that I'd like to use on my old
Studebaker, but one of the holes where the fan bolts on is stripped.  I
am hesitant to drill any farther into the housing to make the repair,
and am wondering how one deals with this situation where one can't run a

My sons Prelude was getting hot and I replaced the radiator and the
radiator cap, bled it, but it is still loosing coolant from somewhere
and then it gets hot.
I was wondering if it is burning coolant and/or oil.

Appreciate any suggestions the board might have to help keep my 1990
Mazda MX-6 4cy NA on the road.
The issue is that in the hot Texas weather, the car will overheat but
only in a strange set of circumstances:

How long should I spin a new valve when I'm lapping it in? In the past
I just spun it 30 seconds or so back and forth and all around until it
seems to fit nice and smooth.
Is that good enough?

I have a 93 Saturn SL1. One cyl leaks bigtime into the intake manifold.
The other three cylinders leak just the tiniest bit.
The plugs from the three "good" cylinder look black all over, but the
plug from the leaky cylinder looks kind of oily and clean. The car runs

I have a Mazda RX-8 that's not quite two years old and has almost 24k
miles.  One of the original tires has very little tread left so I'm
considering replacing at least two and maybe all four.  (The car has
