| greasing throwout bearing? | 16 May 2006 05:07 GMT | 13 |
what's the trick to greasing a throwout bearing? ISTR you get a pot full of boiling water, fill a smaller pot with grease, set in boiling water and let warm up, dunk bearing in grease and let it "cook" for a while, wipe clean, install. Is this right?

Once I get the broken water pump bolt removed from my 93 F150 5.0 liter... the next question is what do I use for a replacement? I'm assuming it's a Grade 5 type bolt - is that correct? Do I need to go to a dealer or will any Grade 5 bolt (of the right size
