We replace the alternator but the battery still dies .  we recharge the

Stuck brake disc 2001 crown victoria14 Jun 2006 19:05 GMT4
I need to remove my rear rotor, but i am not replacing it so i will
need to reuse this so using the "hit it as hard as you can with a
sledge hammer" may not be the best route.  My car is making a scraping
noise coming from the rear passenger wheel, and i need to get the thing
1988 Mazda MX6 Air Conditionar14 Jun 2006 16:56 GMT8
I was having problems with my AC so figured it was my freon. Got more
freon and the compressor is working, but only goes on when the fan is
at its lowest speed (1). When it is at 1 the selected A/C light goes
on, but then as soon as you switch it to 2,3, or 4, the light goes out
Cordless impact wrench & Goodyear impact wrench14 Jun 2006 15:33 GMT13
I am considering a cordless impact wrench. Seems like a good idea, but
the good ones like Ingersoll Rand or Milwaukee are very expensive.
I am considering the Goodyear electric impact wrench. Pepboys has it on
sale for 79.99 with rebate. I am concerned that the impact wrench will

Oil Independence Day 200614 Jun 2006 04:03 GMT2
High gas prices have created a new group of people - "pump
grumblers."
When pumping our high priced gas, we grumble words of resentment, while
feeling powerless. We need gas, so we pay the price. Standing as a
Tire noise after roataion and brake job14 Jun 2006 03:47 GMT1
I had a dealer rotate tires and replace front and rear brake pads today for
my '03 Odyssey. There seems to be constant loud noise coming from the rear
tires and occasional humming noise from the front ones. So, the car is
noticeably noisier. What's going on? Thanks.
Mercury Marquis fuel problem???14 Jun 2006 02:17 GMT9
Hello, I have a 1983 Grand Marquis. Yesterday, it ran out of gas.
After getting gas in it, we still have had problems starting it. I have
changed the fuel filter inside of the carb today. I put some gas inside
of the butterfly on the carb and it almost starts. It will turn over
1984 Plymouth Voyager 2.6L with Mikuni carburetor.13 Jun 2006 23:50 GMT1
I got this old van because the body and interior are great, and the
2.6L Mitsubishi engine seems tight and quiet.  This van doesn't have a
computer.
Right after I got it, I noticed it stalled after 2.2 kilometers (1.4
Bypass heater core + plug circuit, Chevy 28313 Jun 2006 23:50 GMT1
I am rebuilding the cooling system on a '57 Chevy sedan with a stock
283 V8. Since I only drive it in the summer, and have already
overspent, I want to just bypass the heater core for now.
I could easily make a little loop of hose from the manifold fitting to

Cost of a transmission FLUSH?13 Jun 2006 21:28 GMT18
I was wondering how much I should expect to pay for a transmission
fluid flush (not a drain).  I'm talking about when they completely
remove all the old fluid and replace it with new fluid, as opposed to
just draining and re-filling.  I've got a 1998 Honda Accord LX 4-cyc
1996 Geo Metro13 Jun 2006 20:54 GMT3
son's 96 Geo Metro's clutch pedal suddenly sunk to the floor and stayed
there.  Does anyone know if this might be a relatively simple and
inexpensive problem to repair or an involved and expensive problem?  Time
