Otherwise any idea how to disable this?  thanks!

Has anyone tried similar one?
Jammed power window07 Jul 2006 23:02 GMT1
I have had a problem with the driver's window in my 1994 Mitsubishi
Galant for the past year. The window stops half way down when either
going down or up. It makes a grinding sound but if I apply some
pressure it will continue going down or when going up if I pull it it
"Glowing" ex manifold on a 2.5L S-1007 Jul 2006 17:38 GMT30
It's a 91  2.5L TBI ... the rig became progressively sluggish [over
weeks] until it would hardly move.  Any throttle movement would stall
the engine.  And the exhaust manifold was red hot before I chose not to
drive it!

1993 Toyota Corolla (lost manual years ago)  Both directionals stopped
working today.  Checked the 7.5,15 and 20 fuses and all seem to be
working.  Any ideas?  Thanks.
brake rotors keep warping07 Jul 2006 15:45 GMT36
Hello.  My brake rotors on my civic keep warping.  I had my front brake
pads and callipers replaced.  About a year later, they warped again,
and the dealer resurfaced teh rotors.  It's now about a year later, and
they have warped again.  I only drive about 5000 miles per year.  What
94 Pontiac Bonneville - Head Gasket, Seal, or Intake failure???07 Jul 2006 15:11 GMT4
I have a 1994 Pontiac Bonneville, according to everything I've
researched (VIN & Year), it would be a 1st Gen. 3800 engine.  It is
smoking from the rear of the engine (or towards the firewall, rather)
as well as the tailpipe.  It looks like a head gasket problem, but it
Cars friendly to the home mechanic07 Jul 2006 10:11 GMT44
Just a question and a comment here...
Would anyone agree with me that the 'newer' model cars (1994 on up) are much
more difficult to work on for the home mechanic than the much older models?
Or do you cars have gotten much easier and simpler to work on over the years?

Hey, Jerry, this is from an auto forum I regularly read, learn from, and

1984 AMC Eagle won't start07 Jul 2006 00:52 GMT2
Okay here's the problem.  Initially the starter would not stop cranking
after the ignition off after trying to start.  Replaced the ignition
switch, still did it anyway.  Replaced wires: ground cables, starter
cable from solenoid, and the solenoid itself.  Fixed the starter
727 Torqueflite locking up06 Jul 2006 22:52 GMT4
I am very inexperienced with transmissions and hope that someone has an
idea on where to start with a problem we're having with the
transmission in my father's 1965 Coronet. It has the original '65 727
transmission and a 440 engine. The only mods known to the transmission

1994 Trans Sport 3.8 missfiring06 Jul 2006 03:36 GMT1
O.K. I have new info on my problem. I decided to power brake it when
i got home tonight. I just slowly increased the R.P.M.s  Sure enough
right at 1600 it started to miss, then went away at 1800. No miss above
or below that range.  It sounds like it is just one cylinder, not
Cooling system bubbles, help!05 Jul 2006 22:41 GMT28
I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT with a V6 engine.
About a month and a half ago, my radiator cracked at the top so I
changed it for a new one. As I did and started up my car to take it
home, I noticed that the water in the radiator reserve tank was being
