1994 pontiac trans sport  missing05 Jul 2006 22:11 GMT1
Sorry, I never said what engine was in the van. Its a 3.8 .  The plugs
did look very white when i replaced them.  My thoughts are the throdle
position sensor. Maby a little weak spot right in the common cruising
position.  Thanks, TP
ac cycling on/off at weird intervals05 Jul 2006 22:01 GMT4
I'm having problem with the ac on my 1998 ford explorer cycling on/off
at weird intervals.  My first thought was that it had leaked and was
low, but after buying a gauge it was found to be in the middle range of
"full".  Sometimes it will cut on when I first get in the car and may
1994  pontiac trans sport05 Jul 2006 21:36 GMT1
This van is new to me and had this missing problem sence I bought it.
Sence I bought the van I've changed the spark plugs.  The original
plugs did not look to bad.  I also changed the fuel filter and the
missing problem still exists.  The engine seems to run very well.  The

Looking for a place to connect the vacuum gauge line/hose for manfold

Can't seem to find anything that resembles a rubber vacuum hose for
tapping into, on this engine. 2005 Buick 3800 V6.
Depreciation05 Jul 2006 18:25 GMT19
How much does an automobile depreciate from a mechanic's wear and tear
during a repair job?
Belt buckle scratches due to not using fender covers, soiled tires from
greasy hands, grease on the upholstery / floor mat / doors from greasy
availability of repair manuals SOMEWHERE at no cost05 Jul 2006 15:17 GMT6
I went and got replacement seatbelt motors that go up inside the doors, from
a salvage and got a really good deal.  Now the problem is I have no clue how
to install them & don't want to pay out the butt now to get them in.  If I
had instructions, I know i could pretty much do it ...

chevy 350 cam question (moves in and out while turning)04 Jul 2006 21:41 GMT10
Recently my distributor gear stripped.  I pulled the motor a part to
replace cam, and after replacing the cam I turned the new one by hand
with a couple bolts in the end of it,  and while turning I noticed the
cam walks out about a 1/8 inch like it has a lobe at the back of it.
1987 Monte Carlo Power Windows04 Jul 2006 04:28 GMT2
I have a 1987 Monte Carlo w/power windows. They take forever to go up
and down. Is it the motors that need replacing? Or do I need to change
regulators or other stuff? Or is it a ground issue, being that when I
rev the motor the windows move a little quicker? This is my first time
1999 Silverado Stumbles04 Jul 2006 01:49 GMT4
I have a 1999 Chevy Silverado 4x4 with 64k miles, 5.3 L engine and
automatic tranny.  The truck "stumbles" at different times.  The
problem generally occurs when I first start the engine and put in gear.
Once I begin to give it more throttle, the problem starts to
VERY Cold Weather04 Jul 2006 00:52 GMT11
Hey, I'm going to be attending college in Fairbanks, Alaska next year,
and I just bought a truck that should handle pretty well in snowy
conditions. For those interested, it is a used 2000 GMC Sierra Ext. Cab
K1500 4x4 with a little over 70,000 miles. It's also my first vehicle,
Oil Light / Bearing Clearance Q.03 Jul 2006 23:45 GMT6
The oil light on my '89 Daihatsu Charade (1.0L w/ 250K miles) has been
coming on at idle for the last month or so, but only after about 20 minutes
of freeway driving. My first thought was worn main bearings. (Rod bearings
were changed 100K ago, so I don't suspect a problem there ...

Hello all, I have a problem with my ac and is looking for some
help/guidance. My ac worked fine for almost a year and suddenly my

time as I took it into the local shop because I had a burning smell
