My 1993 Aerostar (170,000 miles) rack & pinion has been leaking power steering fluid for quite a while. I plan on replacing it with an Autozone or Checker rebuilt assembly and since the suspended wheel has play when shook, the outer tie rod ends for both front wheels at the

| starter and air conditioner | 24 Jul 2006 22:26 GMT | 11 |
My boss told me to turn off the A/C when I park the truck 'cause it puts unneeded stress on the starter. I told him that didn't sound right, and I was fairly certain axillary functions were shut off when a car started.

I have '87 BMW 316 carb engine. I bought complete A/C set from a wrecked car, and am about to fit it in mine (without factory installed A/C). One of the problems I am facing is how to raise rpm to compensate for additional load when A/C compressor is on.

I have a '78 Buick Regal with a 3.8 l 231cc V6. The catalytic converter, due to corrosion and to a rather unfortunate recent incident with a railroad crossing, is in a very badly mangled condition. I am told it costs $300 to replace. I also vaguely recall hearing that on

Just purchased a 1987 Nissan Stanza, 4 cylinder. It's in amazingly good condition inside and out. I've only owned the car for a week. On two occasions I've noticed a small spot of oil on the garage floor after parking the car for the night. I'm only using the car to get to
