Somebody help me. I own a 1996 gmc Jimmy and i can not figure out what

little bit then we seen water dripping from under the motor so we added
Chevy Smallblock starter question...19 Jul 2006 14:04 GMT6
76 Camaro Dirt Track Car... starter is (was) a rebuilt bigblock HD one,
that's been given a new nose to match the flywheel, and the gear
(bendix?) swapped for a used one when it jammed in the 307's bent
flexplate.
Visual Differences Between Cast Iron & Forged Steel Crankshafts19 Jul 2006 11:12 GMT6
I have searched high and low for an answer to this question.  I
recently have purchased a 1969 375hp 396 engine.  A very rare engine!
Now the only problem is telling if it has all the true internal
components inside as I was told it had.

1992 Jeep Cherokee Limited, brand new tires, rotors, drums, pads, RH
inner tie rod end. I had not gone 10 KM's before I noticed the brake
smell at a stoplight. The next time I slowed down for traffic it pulled
to the right slightly. I was doing about 40km per hour and just eased
Timing best and water pump in Chevy Metro19 Jul 2006 05:12 GMT7
My car is Chevy Metro 1998.  Today I had the timing belt replaced by a
mechanic.  After that a friend of mine said that in this type of car, a
water pump was driven by the timing belt, so needed to be replaced too.
Or the timing belt will need to be replaced again when the water ...

Tis the season for A/C questions...18 Jul 2006 23:06 GMT10
Just a quick A/C question for you.  I have a 1999 Altima with air, and
although the air works, it seems like it's not quite up (or down) to 100%
performance.  I've noticed the compressor seems to run for a long time, and
then only cycle off for maybe 20 or 30 seconds before ...
A/C system capacity?18 Jul 2006 21:44 GMT2
I have a 1992 Chevy Astro van with front & rear air that needs a
complete refill after being serviced & pulled down to a complete vacuum.
How much refridgerant does this system require? I've read that to do it
right it should really be measured in amount of coolant, not just by ...
GM 4.2L Vortec I6 - timing belt or chain?18 Jul 2006 20:25 GMT1
(envoy, trailblazer)
Google is not not helping me... I'm pretty sure it's a chain, but I
might be buying a used Envoy, and there's lots for sale with 150,000km
(90,000 miles) which would be just under the 100,000km/60,000mile belt
Engine prelubrication18 Jul 2006 15:08 GMT11
I recently had an argument with an automotive technician (i am an
automotive service advisor) about engine prelubrication. As i have
thoroughly read Jack Erjavec's excellent book "Automotive Technology, A
System's Approach" i tend to believe that you have to prelubricate a

I have a 2000 Mazda 626 which recently began overheating when I run the

Air Conditioning Temperautre18 Jul 2006 01:12 GMT1
I have a 1998 Honda Civic and my air conditioning seems a little weak.
I measured the air coming out and it measures 48F.  I was wondering if
this is about normal, or a little off.
Thanks for your help.
