| Front wheel bearing/hub removal (Cavalier) | 31 Aug 2006 04:54 GMT | 6 |
('99 Cavalier.) Failed NYS inspection, for a bad FWB. I've removed the spindle nut, freed the axle from the hub, and removed the 3 hub flange bolts (T55, BTW). The Chevy book says "remove the hub and bearing assembly." It doesn't seem to be coming quite that easily.

The check engine light came on in my 97 Geo Prizm. The code was P0141 (O2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2)) and the Chilton manual said that that was the post-convertor O2 sensor. It had a little diagnostic test I could try and so I tried that out and according to the test it was

| alternator question | 30 Aug 2006 00:48 GMT | 2 |
I have one of those delco one wire 12v alternators with internal regulator. I was wondering if the regulator part is replaceable as a separate part. should be cheaper than replacing the whole unit assuming all else is ok.

| axle nut size? (Cavalier) | 30 Aug 2006 00:33 GMT | 4 |
'99 Cavalier. The only axle/spindle nut sockets I can find around here are 30mm and up. 30mm feels too big. With my not-too-precise calipers, I measure 1.15". Is this maybe a 28mm? 1 3/16? Clues?

It's a 1995 Buick Riviera w/Supercharger. Road trip from CA to Phoenix and got an inch of coolant through the floor of the cabin. Water pump just replaced after trip. No obvious leaks from radiator or coolant reservoir. Any idea how to fix this? Does the radiator need flushing?
