It's been doing this for about 7,000 to 10,000 miles now, but this is

4-cylnder, manual transmission. (Just incase that helps.)
What it's doing:
2001 Silverado OBD codes?12 Aug 2006 03:59 GMT8
Is there a way to read the diagnostic codes on a 2001 Chevy Pickup
without an OBD-II reader?  Several previous vehicles would blink the
codes to you if you turned the key on/off/on/off/on/off rapidly, or
pushed the right combination of radio buttons, etc.

I still have a 1990 Mazda Protege knock-around-town car.  It has 178K+ on
the odometer and is an amazing little machine (very reliable and solid).
I've always done nearly all of the service work on it, and enjoy doing it,
but replacing the TB is something I've always taken it into a ...

1989 Ford Bronco II.  Rear brakes not working.  Replaced brake
cylinders.  With pedal depressed all the way to the floor, I can still
turn the wheel by hand.  Turned adjustment to the point where the wheel
barely turns, but it still turns when brake is depressed.  Removed

1995 civic turns over but won't start11 Aug 2006 07:03 GMT2
Everyone I asked thought my car was running on three cylinders, so
after replacing the spark plugs and the engine still running very rough
and with low power, I decided to figure out which cylinder wasn't
firing.  I pulled out the plug wire furthest right, the engine
Why so much?? Am I living in the 70s?10 Aug 2006 22:25 GMT8
I took my 04 Durango in for a 30,000mi service.  The maint.log
recommends several items of which I can do myself - such as oil
change/filter, front and rear diff. fluid, and air filter. I had my
local NAPA shop do the following: spark plug replacement(check first),
Fuel Consumption RPM MPH10 Aug 2006 20:36 GMT5
I think rating fuel consumtion for comperasion purposes can be
misleading.
Wont a 3.5 Liter car will consume less fuel in high speeds compares to
2.5?

how often do you maintain, clean (or perhaps replace) your K&N airfilter?
under average conditions, say 15k miles? is the "approved" K&N oil media the
only suitable one to use or are there alternatives?

2002 Suzuki Vitara door panel10 Aug 2006 15:03 GMT2
The driver's window on my Suzuki Vitara is very slow in mid-range going up.
Sometimes it even stops and must be manually assisted.  Going down is no
problem.  In order to inspect the tracks and possibly lubricate them and any
worm gear involved, I tried to remove the door panel.  I ...

I have a 1990 Plymouth Sundance, bought it new, have had it for 16

A couple of weeks ago, the air conditioning cut out. I took it to my
