Hi, I'm thinking of buying a 97 honda accord ex v6 with 100k miles on
it. I like it just fine, the only problem is is that it shakes quite
noticeably  when i brake on the highway over 60. Is this something that
must be fixed or is it likely that the car is safe with this problem

I'm still trying to find the radiator draincock on my 2000 Saturn station

left at the bottom of the radiator and I see an ivory colored plastic piece
that appears to be a plastic bolt, but this piece appears ...

Simple question: In California, what are the consequences of selling a
car to a friend for $1? Are there any tax consequences for ME, or any
income tax issues for the friend? I think there are, but haven't found
anything concrete to guide me. Basically I just want to give the car to

2001 Buck Century-Just wierd or a junker?19 Aug 2006 12:46 GMT4
It's got 43,000, mostly city driving with some brief freeway runs. Two
probs. First, it's using about a quart of oil every two or three
months. Not leaking on driveway and the car's not smoking. Inside of
the exhaust pipe isn't light grey but it's not sooty black either. Is
CEL P1135 (do I have to?)19 Aug 2006 03:21 GMT4
On my way home from work the other day my check engine light came on.
The next day I had it at the mechanic to see what that was all about.
They came back with a code P1135: Manufacturer's Controller Air & Fuel
Metering Air/fuel sensor heating circuit (reading off the estimate) for
Impreza CV axle19 Aug 2006 02:57 GMT3
I have worked out the retaining pin and have the axle out. When I tried
to put the new axle on I noticed that the pin alignment holes don't
align cleanly. When placed on the splines properly the hole shifts to one
side or the other depending on which spline I choose. When I tried ...

I recently put in a new engine into my car, and in the process took the
torque converter off. In doing so, some fluid spilled out. Upon
re-assembly, i tried to pour new fluid into the converter, then put the
engine back in. Now the car wont move. I am assuming the the torque
