99 Tahoe - AC Problem14 Aug 2006 14:15 GMT1
I have a high-mileage 99 chevy Tahoe and I've determined (mostly due to
loud clanking noises) that the A/C compressor has failed and needs to
be replaced.
Ok, so I've removed the compressor as well as the accumulator, the
repairing rusted rocker panel14 Aug 2006 08:44 GMT5
I have a 1997 Geo Metro. One of the rocker panels is badly rusted. You
can't really see it from the outside, but I'm pretty sure that a 4' x
4" section is rusted on the inside. If it can last for another 4 years
or so, that would be acceptable to me. I'm coming up for a saftey on

95 Cherokee A/C noise14 Aug 2006 08:07 GMT1
My 95 Cherokee makes a train horn sound and vibrates at the drier

Originally, I was told that I had overcharged the system at home which
Mazda B2600 engine oil use14 Aug 2006 07:22 GMT2
I had my B2600 engine (1991 truck) rebuilt at 95,000 miles (water leak,
cracked head).  Spent $ 2,100.  Upon rebuild (I did the R&R) it immediately
used a lot of oil.  I pulled it back out and the re-builder tore it down and
told me he got some 'mis-marked' rings, and therefore ...
98 Ford Escort-No voltage to A/C compressor14 Aug 2006 03:57 GMT1
I have a 98 escort with no A/C. No voltage to compressor. I replaced
the high side A/C switch on the receiver/dryer, and checked the Low
side switch near the radiator. No go. The compressor still gets no
voltage. Is there some sort of A/C relay WAC switch that controls

1992 Chevy Lumina 6 cylinder radiator fans not coming on13 Aug 2006 06:49 GMT8

come on, ever. When I turn the air conditioner on should at least one

Hi all.. New here..  I have been working on my 86 Trans AM for the
last two years.. a few questions have come up.  One is I dropped a 76 2

a vette.  My question is will the 86 mechanical 305 fuel pump work on

disconnect the collant temp sensor plug it'll start for 3-5 seconds and
run at about 2400 rpm, then die out.  Computer has also been replaced.

Bad engine mounts, but who cares?12 Aug 2006 04:19 GMT20
Just got a '96 toyota Camry from my father in law, 150K miles.
Great shape otherwise, but it shakes like ten epileptics when idling
