I have a 96 chevy S-10 p-up V6. one day I went to lunch and when I returned and attempted to start the truck it started and immediately died. After a couple of tries the vehicle did start and once running functioned normally. since then the vehicle will no longer start at all.

have a friend with a 1995 ford taurus..and the torque converter dosent always disingage when the car comes to a stop and kills the engen.. It sometimes stalls the engen when put in reverse..it was a littel low on fluid so we put in some Lotis trans condishner..converter is starting ...
