Short question: Should I buy Yokohama Avid TRZs or Yokohama YK520s (or neither -- something else?) Background: I want to admit up front that I don't know much about cars or tires. However, I do drive one (a car, that is), so I appreciate any

| Replacing SUV tire(s) | 06 Oct 2006 03:09 GMT | 30 |
I had a flat tire on the front passenger side tire on my SUV. My wife didn't know about it and started driving, not realizing the tire was flat, and a few minutes later came back and told me about it. I'm not sure how far she drove on a flat tire (never a good thing to do). ...

Got a '97 Chevy S-10 pickemup that is losing coolant from the cooling system frequently. Had a water pump go out a couple years ago, so doubt it's that. Besides which the temp just went on over like it would peg out if I didn't shut down, with the water pump problem.

| Junkyard Yellow 'Marker' Paint | 05 Oct 2006 04:35 GMT | 4 |
When I've bought parts from a yard sometimes they hastily dab their initials or a date or whatever on the part with some sort of yellow paint. (maybe to identify a part they sold for warranty but who know...) I haven't been to one or bought anything in a long time. But

Hey all - 2000 Explorer Sport, 94,500 miles. RWD, 5-speed manual. The power steering pump is making the familiar moaning sound...definitely the pump as it changes pitch when the steering wheel is turned. It is audible with no load on the pump at all. Is there
