I am new to this group and I want to ask a question. I have a 1993
Mercury Topaz and from what I was told the harmonic balancer/front

I have a 98 Toyota Camry, 6cyl, XLE that has electrical problems.
1.  When the door is unlocked, the alarm goes off.
2.  While the door is open, the locks keep locking and unlocking until
the door is closed.

Any suggestions for a more modern substitute for the Lucas C40
generator?  This is for a 1960 Series II 109"  I'm up for fabing a new
mounting bracket/arm and fooling with wiring, voltage regulators, etc.
Or is there a source for reasonably priced rebuilt C40s?
