My wife was involved in a rear end accident July 27th or there about.
The trunk, bumper, and rear panels over the rear wheels where also

Electrical Question: 2001 Caravan Tail Light20 Oct 2006 17:43 GMT2
My wife recently backed her 2001 Caravan into something and destroyed
the tail light.  I was able to readily obtain another from a 2003 or 04.
Hadn't yet removed the original so didn't notice until I got home that
the new models use a single, multi-filament bulb for both tail and ...
C6 failure diagnosis, any AT mechs in here?20 Oct 2006 17:32 GMT1
'68 C6 behind a truck 390 failed when it "slammed" into reverse with
choke on.  Initially loud "clattering" noise from trans, then nothing.
Now, I get drive in 2 and 3 only, no 1 and R, but I can feel the
low-reverse clutch engaging when selected.  It's due for a rebuild

So my wife was driving our '86 Camry grocery-getter (2SFE engine) and
the idle smoothness and available power suddenly start to feel like it

I pulled the plugs and #3's spark gap is zero.  Grounding bar mashed

usually mechanical or computer? Thanks!
Parts Cleaner Precaution20 Oct 2006 15:57 GMT1
I have a 15-gallon, home-built parts cleaner in my shop that is doing just
fine.
Recently, at a lawn sale, I had the chance to purchase one of those small,
3.5 gallon parts cleaners like you see in the Northern Tools and Harbor
bypassing rear brakes20 Oct 2006 15:48 GMT26
A rear brake line blew on my 91 Toyota Corolla the other day due to
corosion, and rather than replace it, which would be tricky and
expensive due to the amount of corrosion and access to parts, I was
thinking of just crimping the rear brake hoses, making the rear brakes

rounded nut, bolt removal20 Oct 2006 05:10 GMT4
While replacing the power steering pump I rounded the tube nut.  I tried
