'68 C6 behind a truck 390 failed when it "slammed" into reverse with choke on. Initially loud "clattering" noise from trans, then nothing. Now, I get drive in 2 and 3 only, no 1 and R, but I can feel the low-reverse clutch engaging when selected. It's due for a rebuild

hello all... I was wondering the process of upping the speed of a truck that has a governor cap or speed restriction on it.. It is a 03 diesel truck made by GMC. I believe it is a w-series.. a box truck. Are they usually mechanical or computer? Thanks!

While replacing the power steering pump I rounded the tube nut. I tried two different brands of tube wrenches and both kept rounding the nut more. I found a tool that easily removed the now rounded nut. Vicegrip
