Chrysler Neon beeps when reaching 120km/h19 Oct 2006 16:47 GMT16
For some reason my 2003 Chrysler Neon beeps when I reach 120km/h.  I
have checked the manual to see if it is a type of safety device, but
there is no info in the manual.  It is the same tone as if the keys are
in the ignition and the door is open, but a much faster tempo.  Perhaps

I am trying to find easy, cheap ways to bring down NOx levels on a MA
emissions test.
My '94 Grand Marquis wasn't driven from Nov. 05- June 06, and then July
06- august 06.  Got it inspected basically the day I started it up

which hold more charge, charge faster, and contain no
hazardous toxins.

Thermal efficiency and SFC18 Oct 2006 15:07 GMT8
Was pondering some stuff on thermal efficiency yesterday.  Got to
wondering about something.  Can one convert specific fuel consumption to
thermal efficiency?  Seems to me if one takes energy content of gasoline
and expressed it in horsepower hour units, and replaced the pounds ...
Howling, humming noise from the front right side18 Oct 2006 14:53 GMT1
My 2006 Lexus ES 330 makes low-level howling, humming noise from the front
right side. It's not loud but it's there. I just want to get some knowledge
on this issue before bringing the car to a dealer to have them look at it.
Here's a list of things that I found about the noise.

I recently bought this family van and after driving around for a while

only revs up 500 RPM or something- not drastic-, but I'm just wondering
if anyone has had anying like this happen.

1998 Toyota Camry - loud engine17 Oct 2006 22:09 GMT2
Recently I noticed that the engine seems louder. It sounds like a rough
race car engine. Is this something to do with the muffler? The sound
seems to be coming from the engine, not beneath the car. Any
suggestions will help.

Putting ball joints in a 1988 Wrangler 4x4. Been a few years and beers

on upper first? Then on lower, tighten/snug  threaded sleeve insert,
then torque nut?
