Charging Voltage Too High?25 Nov 2006 02:27 GMT6
Just replaced the battery on my '97 Chevy Cavalier. The voltage
measured with the engine running is about 14.7 volts. Is that too high?
Is there any way to adjust it? The voltage stays pretty constant
whether idling or revving the engine. Previous battery lasted about 4

V6 engine, believe the SOHC one.
About 2 weeks ago purchased gas at a location where the station just
ran out of gas.  The next
morning the explorer would not start unless you gave it alot of gas.

I have a 97 Regal LS with a 3.8L motor.  It currently has a rough idle
and sputters going up hills and shakes violently sometimes.  I hooked
it up to a code reader witch only told me that it was code 300--Random
Cyl. Misfire.  It gave no information about any sensors just the one

I am having a difficult time finding out the identification numbers for
the transmission valve to determine if it is a green dot valve body or
not.  I have a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500  with a 352 motor, FMX
transmission, cruiseomatic, 3-speed automatic, and  four door sedan.

My battery has been dead quiet a bit in the last 2 months. I did some
more testing over the weekend.  The alternator and battery test as
fine.
The battery drain is around 90ma.  When I start pulling fuses, I find

I'm the owner of a 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier with a 2.2l 4 cyl engine,
130k miles.  For a couple of weeks now I have noticed a weird sound
coming from my engine compartment while idling.  The best way that I

I have never seen a $20 Fram air filter rebate before and thought I
would pass it on because it is an amazing deal and the rebate ends on

I have a 1985 Chevy Celebrity 2.8 V6-Multi port fuel injection, where is
the fusible link cable located? The cable broke on both ends due to old
age and I need to replace it. Thanks

I am getting p0113 code (IAT Sensor high). Can this cause poor
performance at higher speed?
Car is very sluggish after it gets above 35mph...
