Vehicle is a 1986 Chevy G10 van. Canadian 4.3 V6 with a four barrel (M4MED?) carb. Automatic trans. 52,000kms on her. I thought I had this problem licked, but it came back yesterday... (temp dropped to around 0'C)

First, are these assumptions correct? (1) Starting a car when the engine is cold puts alot more stress on it than when it's already warm. (2) And the colder it is, the more stress.

hi i have a 1993 chevy dually ,when i put on my park lights or headlights ,the fuse for that curcuit heats up ,an gets to a point when on a long drive it melts the plastic off the fuse ,but i will not blow the fuse ,so if anyone can help me with this problem it would be great

Does anybody know of an automotive diagnostics tester for a Lincoln? Everybody seems to carry the $30 one that covers an array of vehicles, but the codes they provide are limited and normally vague at best. I'm looking for a code reader that can pull the complete set of codes

I backed my 2006 Milan into another one recently and ended up with scratches on my bumper, door, and that panel in between. I may not try to fix it, because it will cost $500+. And the damage isn't visibly terrible.

I have a 1964 T-Bird that suppose to have a 390 engine. I have found a raised casting number on the right front of the block #16 with 352 underneath. Any idea if this is trully a 390 or perhaps been changed with a 352 engine?

I think I have a leaking head gasket on my Legacy Outback 1996 (2.5L), and I've decided to change it myself. I got the Haynes repair manual, but a few things are not very clear and I was hoping to get some advice from people on this list about the following points:
