OT? Propane/Natural Gas Carbs27 Dec 2006 07:05 GMT12
I have a generator with a 5 Hp Briggs and Stratton engine (gasoline
powered). Between the gas gumming up (I use a gas stabilizer) and the
tank rusting, depending on this thing for emergency power is hopeless.
There are carburetors for propane and/or natural gas available, but who

I pulled the fuel relay and it was melted so I repaced that. Same
96 chevy truck water pump replacement question26 Dec 2006 20:15 GMT1
I am attempting to replace this. Do I have to remove the alternator or
power steering/air conditioner pump brakets or can I just take the 4
water pump bolts out and remove? Is this an easy repair?
97 Chevy Cavalier - where's the horn relay?25 Dec 2006 18:59 GMT3
I recently bought a used Cavalier for commuter use, and the horn
doesn't work.  My first thought was to check the horn relay, but I
haven't a clue where it is, and the Haynes manual I bought doesn't say.
It's not in the relay pack on the left fender; that's about all I know
Tort Caps On Renewable Tech Tragedies25 Dec 2006 16:27 GMT25
I'm generally opposed to "tort reform" for a lot of reasons but one
exception needs to be carved out for humanity to survive:
If someone's supercap or Li ion battery explodes, trial lawyers will
never see more than $100K per head.
Dual water temp sending unit24 Dec 2006 14:36 GMT3
Anyone ever heard of a water temp sending unit that can run an idiot
light and a gauge at once?  I have an idiot light now, but would like a
gauge in addition.  There are no more spots to put new sending units.

I have 85,000 miles.  4 cylinder & 5-speed manual.  I take good care of
the car and never had any problems.  Did the maint and a few small
repairs like CV boots, etc.  The radiator fan must have failed an it
overheated rapidly.  I shut it down fast.

1989 Corolla running warm23 Dec 2006 23:11 GMT2
My 1989 Corolla has began running warm lately....not to the point of
overheating but slightly above the normal "9 o'clock"positon of the heat
indicator needle. It gets up to about the "10 o'clock" position, which
is still below the danger range. Otherwise the car runs fine. It has

keep running. In addition there is a whistling noise. I've checked the
Help 96 Honda Civic "Check Engine light" and "ABS light"23 Dec 2006 15:12 GMT4
I bought a 96 Honda civic. It runs fine. But sometimes after about 5-10
mins on the road the CEL indicator comes one. Sometimes it doesn't. I

short which I think should be 1 and 10 not 11. What are the problems?
