PCV valve question02 Feb 2007 06:34 GMT3
I replace my PCV valve once a year whether it needs it or not. The last
changeout was around 6 months ago. Today I pulled the PCV valve out of the
hole that it plugs into in the valve cover and the engine did not rev up
like usual when the PCV valve is pulled out. I put my finger ...
Rear window de-fogger .02 Feb 2007 05:35 GMT1
1987 Lincoln Town Car.  Last year my rear window de-fogger (wires in
glass) worked fine.  This year only the bottom half works.  What can I
do to fix it? I don't want to put in a new rear window just for that.
The rear window was already replaced once just to get defogger to work.

This story might be a little involved, but basically it comes down
to me having spongy brakes.
I just had the front brake pads & rotors replaced, and since then,
I've had to apply more force than I'm used to to get the same response

I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler with a 2.5 liter 4 cyl. auto.  Begining
several months ago, I had problems starting it.  The problem in the
begining almost seemed climate related.  The Jeep would not start in
the AM. As the afternoon came around the jeep would always start.  It

CEL flashing, VSC OFF!!!01 Feb 2007 19:58 GMT19
Yesterday I went to Autozone to read codes, and I've got ''the PCM has
determined that multiple random misfires have occured in cylinder #2, #3, #4
and Troubleshooting PO300, PO302, PO303, PO304.'' What does that mean? How
expensive is to repair them?
Smart car... Remove passenger seat?01 Feb 2007 19:56 GMT14
Just wondering how difficult it is to remove and install the passenger seat
in a Smart car... If done right, it could be very handy to be able to snap
it in and out given the limited space in one of these cars.
2001 Cadillac DeVille with Multiple Misfires01 Feb 2007 16:42 GMT3
This engine was running flawlessly. On a fairly long
highway trip, it started to misfire. By the end of the
trip I am pretty sure that there were two or more
cylinders misfiring. Please note that I had never
Possibly a stupid question about line lock test01 Feb 2007 13:30 GMT9
So, I've been doing some research, and I want to run a line-lock test
on my car to check for a bad master cylinder. I understand what to do,
but I have a simple, yet possibly stupid question: After you clamp off
the lines, do you turn the car on before stepping on the brakes? Or do
