Ceramic Brake Pads OK on a Toyota Sienna?19 Feb 2007 05:36 GMT5
It's time to change the brake pads on my 2000 Toyota Sienna.
I was thinking about  going to ceramic pads but I hear they
may not be compatible with braking systems not designed for them.
Any truth in that? I would think if the pads are available they
Automobile mileage, speed vs time19 Feb 2007 04:09 GMT12
I was wondering how speed and engine running time affects gasoline
mileage. For instance, driving at 60 mph to go from point A to point B
and driving at 25 mph to go the same distance. Would the driving time
that it takes to cover the distance at 25 mph burn more gas than going
Running a car on water via electrolysis19 Feb 2007 03:59 GMT359
Ever since the first patent in the 1930's, it seems
people just want to debunk the idea of combusting
hydrogen from water inside an internal combustion
engine, but yet again it seems a company has
2001 Montero Sport -- power steering fluid cap19 Feb 2007 02:31 GMT3
OK.  Let's get this out of the way first.  I'm an idiot.
But I can't get the cap off our 2001 Power Steering fluid.  It looks
like a little radiator cap.  I can turn it counterclockwise about a
quarter turn before it hits a stop -- just like a radiator cap.

engine overheating question18 Feb 2007 15:49 GMT1
My 1994 Chevy S10 recently overheated and shutoff.  The mechanic replaced
the leaking heater hoses and changed the antifreeze to fix the problem.
He stated that the S10 will shutoff on its own if the engine overheats.  I
s this a specific feature to this model truck, or does it ...

I have a 95 jeep wrangler with a 2.5 liter. At start-up the fuel pump
will not run unless, I first go to the fuel rail test port and relieve
the pressure, then depress the accellerator. The fuel pump will then
run and the jeep will start.  If the pump dose'nt run the jeep won't

'92 Lincoln Continental air suspension malfunction18 Feb 2007 01:28 GMT6
Previous owner replaced all four air shocks. Compressor failed soon after.
I replaced the compressor and burned fuse. Rear was not holding air and
compressor running too much. I was leaning towards the possibility of air
lines not sealing properly and causing leakage...but...before ...
Broken rear-view mirror control on 2004 Nissan Sentra18 Feb 2007 00:13 GMT5
The electrical control still operates the passenger side RV mirror but
not the driver side RV mirror.  I accidentally hit the driver side
mirror with my scraper and wonder if it might have disabled that side.
Whatever the cause, is this likely to be a pricy repair?  Will
