Advice Please: Remanufactured Auto Trans17 Feb 2007 00:37 GMT2
I have a 93 Ford Aerostar that has 170,000 miles.  When I bought it,
it already had 90K on it.  I've changed the Overdrive trans fluid &
filter every 25K and so far it's working fine, although it's always
clunked/jerked harder than normal when it's first shifted into Drive
wobbly steering wheel16 Feb 2007 18:42 GMT9
usually this means there's the need for a front-end alignment I guess,
but I figured I'd put it out there for opinions. My '90 Chrysler's
steering wheel starts to wobble noticeably at 15-25mph. Back and
forth, oh about 1/2 - 1" in each direction.

Well, I grew up upper middle class around a bunch of people that
didn't really fix and repair cars.  I developed a passion for
computers and i know everything about them.  Leaving me with no

Parking brake problem 91 olds cutlass16 Feb 2007 10:34 GMT1
After pressing hard on the parking brake pedal, the front parking
brake cable has unattached itself from the connector under the drivers

Shakes at 50+mph after snowstorm16 Feb 2007 06:41 GMT11
This has happened to 3 friends of mine today. We had a bad ince/snow
storm in NJ yesterday and now when these cars gor over 50mph, they
start to shake. 2 are 4wd cars and 1 is front wheel drive. These cars
didn't hit anything yesterday, so it shouldn't be alignment. I just
What's the deal with Chevy's I-5?16 Feb 2007 06:15 GMT1

Can a Mazda 3 pull a light utility trailer?16 Feb 2007 04:49 GMT1
I'm tired of renting a truck to occasionally move furniture or lumber
and other items that are too big to fit in my car.
I don't want to buy a truck that I'd only use once every month or so.
I'd like to buy a small utility trailer and get a hidden hitch for my
Question About Head Gaskets and Coolant Loss16 Feb 2007 03:41 GMT5
My GF has a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant with (apparently) a very slow
coolant leak. The mechanic says he suspects the head gasket.
The engine runs fine, no evidence of stumbling.
It's my understanding that, if it's the gasket, the breach in
Chevy Astro losing coolant15 Feb 2007 22:22 GMT15
Hi Group, I'm looking for opinions and perhaps a little previous
experience.
I'm dealing with a 2000 Chevy Astro with the 4.3 litre V-6, automatic AWD
and about 160K miles on her. Just the other day, I noticed that it had run
1996 Lumina - heat/air blower problem14 Feb 2007 21:18 GMT3
I have a 1996 3.1L and it's having problems with the heat/air blower.
When I dial it to blow through the front vents (that face the driver),
it will blow through the defrost vents for about 10 minutes and then
will (off and on) switch over to the driver vents.

good shape?
