2003 Chrysler T&C - AC Compressor Always Cycling18 Apr 2007 22:42 GMT2
We bought the van with 11k mi on it, just as the 3 year warranty
expired.  All 11k were put on in the 1st year, then it sat for 2 years
without ever being started.  Van now has 20k.  It has the 3-zone
climate control with rear heat/AC.  Everything seems to function
Honda 91 Civic goes with a bang in reverse18 Apr 2007 17:20 GMT6
Hey, all,
I've got a worrisome but phantom problem with my 1991 Civic.  When I'm
backing up from a parking space, in other words, after turning the car
on and putting it into reverse first thing, I'll get a little ways out
'98 Contour LS w/ bad tranny18 Apr 2007 16:44 GMT1
My Contour has a bad tranny (again). I took it to a trusted mechanic
and after looking at it and diagnosing it, he told me that he would
not fix it, even if I gave him the $2500 it would cost to replace it.
I agree with him; I don't think it's worth fixing this car.

Rant on brake rotors18 Apr 2007 14:39 GMT2
Brake rotors weren't all that expensive when they were made in Canada and
Mexico and other places. Why is is that it's impossible to find rotors
that are made anywhere other than China nowadays?
It's not a nationalism rant. I still haven't heard anything that has
2000 Saturn - flooding issues - how long to wait before turning on?18 Apr 2007 13:38 GMT1
My car recently had some problems with the Nor'easter that tore
through the area and was sitting in some major water (75%+ of tires
covered) for over 24 hours. I drive a 2000 Saturn and today I
attempted to dry the carpets as I had a little standing water still in

83 Ford e150 302 straight 6 water pump17 Apr 2007 18:06 GMT2
Tore into my 83 Ford e150 this morning attempting to replace the water
pump. I have a standard (3 on tree) transmission and no AC, as easy as
it gets for workspace. I'm having some difficulty getting the fan off
the pulley to start extracting the pump itself. Admittedly I haven't

not enough to kick over. Mostly this is when the engine is warm. I
have replaced the ignition control module (fun job) the fuel pump
