I recently failed my state emissions test.  I drive a 91 Toyota Camry

I'd like to know general things you should do to get an old car running if it
has been sitting outside several years.  I'm thinking mainly engine work.  What
stuff would you put in the gas tank to clean out the gunk, gunk?  gumout?  What
would you do for the carb, fuel injectors?

Several years ago, i had a few brake lines repaired at a service station due
to their rusting out.
Have a '97 Buick LeSabre.
Since then, no problems.

I am going on a trip 300 miles or so and I am driving a 2001 Dodge
Caravan. Recently the tire went flat on the rear passenger's side and
I took it to a garage. the garage didn't have the correct match to the
other tires on the vehicle, but they had one that was a bit skinnier

A friend gave me a bottle of this stuff swearing it makes a noticeable
improvement in gas mileage. It's called FFT Gasoline Blend Combustion
Catalyst.

My  '94 Olds Cutlass Ciera 3.1 engine - 27,000 miles:        At speeds above
around 30 MPH I am hearing a slight "rhythmic throb"  -- or "wah, wah"
sound.  It doesn't appear to be associated with the automatic transmission
because when I put it in neutral while driving down the road ...

i recently bought a 1999 econoline and notice the fresh air intake
snorkel is missing, is this part really needed. i don't know why it
was taken off. some people tell me force cool air into the thottle
body makes for better gas mileage, others say theirs no differances.

Or both. Bought a 00 Mazda 626 two weeks ago, corrision, fluids,
engine noise etc. were all fine - and a mechanic in Pasadena found it
to be in almost perfect condition. Also passed smog with flying
