Removing/installing leaf spring bushings02 Jun 2007 14:22 GMT5
I'm replacing the leaf springs in my 86 Chevy Van and was curious as to what
the best way to push old bushings out of the ends of the springs, and to
install new bushings?
'89 Crown Vic computer problem?02 Jun 2007 14:19 GMT4
I wonder if anyone has any ideas for me on this problem.  Car is an '89
Crown Vic, 302, EEC-IV.
For the last couple months or so, occasionally but more & more frequently,
it needs to be cranked several seconds before it starts.  Sometimes the
1999 Grand Prix Cigarette lighters both stopped working (checked fuses)02 Jun 2007 01:40 GMT1
Any thoughts on what else to do here.. I've replaced the fuse (15

Thanks

Who makes the best air filters?  Can you assume the quality of the air
filter would be the same as their oil filters?

Can anyone tell me if you can replace the sliding back window portions

new window installed is $500 and up.
I was told by one place that they could do it if I brought them the

I own a '99 Chevy Blazer, 4.3L Engine.
I drove the car this weekend about 500 miles. No problems at all. Once,
two days ago, when I tried to start it, it didn't start from first try,
but I thought I  didn't crank it long enough, and from the second try

Possible to Improvise Rings and Head Gasket?01 Jun 2007 14:10 GMT13
Earlier this month, while doing smog-check maintenance, noticed that the oil
filler cap on my '89 Daihatsu Charade pops up and almost falls out when I
rev the engine from idle to 1500 rpm. Lots of smoke and oil spray.
Ok, so it's time for an overhaul. Not an insurmountable problem ...
Jumper Cables hooked up wrong.01 Jun 2007 01:03 GMT14
So I hooked my jumper cables up wrong last night in the dark, and
didn't notice the smoke until after trying to crank the dead
Mitsubishi Mirage.  The car with the good battery was a Toyota
Corolla... The Toyota is fine, but the Mirage is dead.  What did I
