My friend sold a broken-down '90s Accura in NJ in January for $400
cash, and got no receipt. It was broken down in her driveway. They
came, fixed it so that it drives ok, and took it away. A few days

Is it usually the amp/transistors, or the speaker(s) itself?
Both rear-seat dash "woofers" (mounted vertically, behind the headrests)
buzz at any kind of volume, sound real crappy.

hello i need help we have a 1986 chevy pickup and it quit running all
at once,it has a 305 eng,it is getting fuel we have changed filters
and the carb shows to be getting gas,so i started looking at the

I just bought a used '99 Beetle that needed charged.  I took it to my
mechanic on Thursday and he charged the a/c for me and the air worked
perfectly for about a day and a half--  now with the a/c on it still
blows cold air, but there is a groaning sound and the a/c clutch kicks

Is it possible to fix a 4" long crack on a windscreen? Its on a land
rover disco, and those screens are expensive. Anyone fixed a crack
this size permanently?

In a four stroke engine, does the tachometer (or the ECU) measure and
report crankshaft rpm or engine rpm? Obviously, the crankshaft rotates
twice for every time the engine goes through a full cycle. So a

A colleague and I were discussing brakes and rotors the other day and
he said that he keeps two sets of rotors, so that when he replaces his
pads, he can have the second set turned.  Then, he swaps the ones that
were recently turned with the ones on the car.
