hard brakes on 1997 Nissan Quest31 Jul 2007 21:06 GMT5
The brakes on this van were hard to press from the time we bought it.
To stop takes an incredible amount of force applied to the brake.
Figuring that it needed to be bled, I just bled all 4 brakes. The
driver side rear drum did have air in it, but even after completely
Color Coded Alternator Wires31 Jul 2007 18:07 GMT19
Old dodge 318 70's vintage. Replacing alternator; stupid me forgot to
write down the wire layout. There's two small wires one green and one
red each going to two different terminals, but I can't remember which
goes to which terminal. Terminals viewing from back of alternator are at

Vehicle:  2000 Pont. Grand AM 3.4
Just wanted to ask besides the common "clicking" noise in turns what

The reason I'm asking is that the car has been aligned, spin balanced
Power steering question31 Jul 2007 15:30 GMT5
I have a 1994 Chevy Corsica with a 6 cylinder engine. The high pressure
power steering hose sprang a leak and was shooting fluid out. I doscovered
that it was a pinhole so I placed a piece of thick rubber over the pinhole
and put a hose clamp over the rubber to hold it tight against ...
anyone tried new Kumho's?31 Jul 2007 14:55 GMT4
Need a decent tire without spending too much (don't we all).
Something brough my attention to Kumho so I did a lot of searching on them.
Hard to find an objective opinion. People either love 'em or hate 'em, there
doesn't seem to be any middle ground.
parts of a regenerative braking system31 Jul 2007 14:46 GMT30
I'm planning to modify my motorcycle to turn it into a hybrid bike (an
experiment).
I'm thinking of adding an electric motor mounted on the swing arm
which would then drive the chain and the rear wheel.

I have a car that i just got 2 new tires for the front. It is a Toyota
Corolla front wheel drive. The rear tires are older with still some

getting an alignment for the car. However, should i wait until i

I have a 1999 maxima (loaded) and last year I had two (one and then
second different one a couple of weeks later) sensors (o2?) replace

Standard driver's license terminology?31 Jul 2007 01:55 GMT6
Is there any standard driver's license terminology in all states?
Here in California, the DMV website talks about Class A, B, C, and M
licenses.
Class A & B are commercial licenses, even though it looks like theu

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am with the 3.4L and auto tranny.
I thought a while ago that people had told me that the engine must
be running to check the fluid level in this tranny.
Checking my Haynes manual it says that the vehicle must be
Megane stalling at 4000rpm and hard acceleration30 Jul 2007 23:28 GMT13
Having just completed a DIY head gasket and timing belt change I took
the car for a spin.
I found it lurched violently when I accelerated hard (foot to the
floor) in 1st gear and also did the same in any gear when it hit
TIG Welders30 Jul 2007 21:41 GMT7
I am planning to build a tube chassis vehicle and I want to invest in
an AC/DC TIG welding machine.
The thing is, there also is a similar TIG welding machine with a Pulse
feature.
