having issue with what i thought was alternator/regulator. Under rpm higher than idle the alternator charges around 17 volts. replaced the regulator, same thing. ditto for alternator and battery. along the way used hand held voltmeter to confirm that guage wasn't the problem. ...

All of a sudden, when I turn the steering wheel on our 2001 Bonneville at low speeds I hear this clunk-clunk-clunk noise. The car has 40K miles on it. The p/s fluid level is fine. What is going wrong? Richard & Frances Bunevitch
