Our '93 Escort 1.9L with 98K miles has had the check engine light on for a while. The memory codes scanned 122 (TPS signal low) and 172 (running lean). I cleaned the TPS connector and reset the codes. That seems to have fixed the code 122, but the code 172 keeps coming back ...

Hmm... there could be a lesson in here somewhere if I could sort it out. My 90 Accord had 196k and a burned #1 exhaust valve when it came to me. The owner is a friend and we just assumed he had let the valve

I have a 91 240sx with a BATT light on the dash and I have some questions: 1) Will alternator ripple (say over .5A AC) cause the light to go on? 2) Would a slipping belt cause this? The battery was just replaced under warranty as a new one failed after 6mo

My son has a 97 Cavalier, we have had the therostat and a couple of other connections fixed. Now it seems to be leaking from the resevoir, not all the time but to often to not fix it. Any Idea what is causing this, Not sure if its the cap resevoir itself. Why would

I have a 1970 silver shadow when i select reverse on the steering colum it does not acutate the linkage on the gearbox. i have all forward gears but no reverse or park would this be an electrical fault. Have you come across anything like this.

Here is the data; does anyone here know how to perform the calculation? Old tires are P205/65R15 92V with a load rating of 1400 pounds at 44 psi. New tires are 205/65VR15 94V (no "P" in front) with a load rating of 1477 pounds at 44 psi.

hey you all, I have a '97 Jeep that had a bad battery. It was old and needed to be replaced, as told to me by an inspection guy whom I trust. Plus, the battery was very old, and it made sense.
