where to find crimp tool?20 Aug 2007 23:35 GMT8
I'm looking for a crimp tool that will do factory-style crimps on the
little electrical connectors used on European cars, the ones with two
tabs that fold over and crimp over the wire and then two more that fold
over and crimp over the insulation for strain relief.  I had a cheap ...
electrical tape for internal trans wire?20 Aug 2007 19:29 GMT7
I have a question I'd like to ask.     Someone in my family had a
chevy C3500 pick-up  (4L80E trans) serviced because the front
transmission seal was leaking.   The mechanic (who works out of his
car garage..not reputable biz) replaced the leaking seal and also said

My brother bought a 96 Explorer 3 years ago.  2 years ago the torque
convertor and transmission failed. They were replaced under warranty
after much harassment of the dealer.  Now, the flex plate cracked and
ate the torque converter and transmission.  Estimates from two
2000 Ford F-250 7.3 Diesel20 Aug 2007 17:13 GMT4
I am a retired mechanic,( 1984), I dont have much experiance with
these computerized rigs, or desktops for that matter. My 2000 F-250
7.3 Turbo diesel recently started stalling for no particular reason.
If it had a coil, I'd say that was the problem, as it seems to run

re:  HEI distributor from 1979 Chevy 350 V-8 ( Cardell # 301895)19 Aug 2007 21:34 GMT6
I have one of the above distributors.  It has the coil built into the

it.  I have changed the cap, the coil, the module and the rotor
several times.  The problem is that 3/4 of the time it will start and

I live near Tampa, FL.
My wife has a 2000 Toyota RAV4 with about 109,000 miles on it.  It sounds
like the bearings in the a/c are starting to squeal a little, and she's
talking about getting another car rather than face that repair bill.  I think

not sure of the connections.  It has a Capacitive pickup, Inductive

Repairing the A/C on my '93 Mazda 626 and I need to flush the mineral oil
out of the system. I'm finding out the hard way that nobody stocks the A/C
flushing solvent here in Canada and that US suppliers can't ship it.
Is there a substitute that I can use to flush the oil from my ...
