Help! I noticed dirt in the gas tank of my push lawn mower so I tried taking out the dirty gas with a syringe. I got a good amount of the gas out but then the rubber plunger in the syringe kept coming off. I guess the gas was attacking the rubber. There still was a small amount ...

I know that the primary causes of high oil consumption are worn rings or worn main bearings. However... Is it possible for worn valve guide oil seals to contribute to high oil usage but NOT result in a puff of smoke out the taipipe from a cold start?

I know it's a quick fix, but what sort of tape would be best to cover over rust holes on a fender edge ? Metal tape? Duct tape ? I would tape over the holes, then spraypaint the entire fender. Thanks

My friend is stumped. He has a 94 Escort that came to him with a serp belt that snapped off and broke 1 wire off of the crank sensor plug which has been reattached. The problem now is when you crank the motor over it will not fire.
