I have a 94 Pontiac Grand Am with the 3.1 V6. I have a problem getting it
going when cold. Starts up fine, no fast idle though. If you attempt to
drive the engine stalls. Letting it warm up for a few minutes before driving
seems to work. Is there a cold start solenoid or something ...

Son just bought a 2003 Dodge 1500 Pickup (4.7l engine)
It has chronic low oil pressure when idling -we're thijnking "new oil
pump"
But there are two issues that concern me about that:

my VW fox cannot settle on an idle speed.  It will race and then drop
down only to gradually start racing again with about 15-20 second duty
cycle.  It's really embarrassing sitting at a stop light.  People
think you want to race.

I have a 92 Ford Ranger XLT 5 speed manual 2wd with a v6 3.0 in it.  I
am lookin to change it over to a 5.0 that i found in a Murcury Grand
Marquis, but not sure exactly what parts i may need.  Im thinking that

I have a 93 Plymouth Grand Voyager. It back fires into the intake on
accelleration, worse when the ambient temp is high. Quick test on the
EEC are EGR related. eplacement of EGR did not fix the problem. I
suspect the backfire is setting codes. Fuel pressues is to spec.

My 1990 Chevy Celebrity Wagon, 3.1 stalls when going up a hill. Almost
feels like its out of gas but it isn't. *Sometimes* it will stall when
its on a level area or idleing. Trying to re-start can be a pain, but
eventually it will restart. Anyone have any ideas on what to look for
