with a new type of connection rather than the "old world" cigarette
lighter plug-receptacle?
Anyone using a Genisys scanner?28 Oct 2007 16:53 GMT1
Been looking at newer scan tools and was wondering who has a Genisys and

Does it also allow you to run all the functional tests like the Tech-2?
How about reprogramming of modules?

Until the last few days, it turned over pretty much the first crank.  It
still turns over very quickly when it's cold, like first thing in the

Constructing a Continuously Variable Transmission27 Oct 2007 05:33 GMT9
Firstly, I am not sure if this is the correct group for this, so if
there is a more relevant one, please say...

Low Compression, thicker oil?27 Oct 2007 04:25 GMT5
I have an old Saturn (1995 SL2) that's been diagnosed as having low
compression in one of the cylinders. I can't afford to have it
repaired right now, so I'm wondering if using a more viscous oil would
be helpful in having it limp along for a few more months. Any

further thoughts on spark plugs, coolant sensors and engine starting27 Oct 2007 01:32 GMT5
I've been doing some further thinking about it, and
I'm just having some thoughts about how engines work.....
Mechanic #4, the one who did the work, told me that the problem
with the bad spark plugs was what was causing the engine to be

Wont Start - Blowing Starters out - 96 Infiniti I3025 Oct 2007 16:50 GMT3
My girlfriend's I30 was having a starting issue. When I tried, it
turned fine, just wouldn't fire enough (it would fire a little, but
then fail to start). So I changed the fuel filter and PCV.
At this point however, it seemed as if the battery had been worn down,

I am wondering if I have defective new uninstalled Moog aftermarket
