| Radiator cap pressure. | 18 Oct 2007 22:34 GMT | 9 |
My cooling system has a small leak in heater core. (1987 Lincoln Town Car.) Bars Stop leak has reduced it but not completely. If i keep the radiator fluid level about an inch from full, (when cold) it greatly reduces the heater core steam. Which means the cooling overflow tank

| shorten differential | 18 Oct 2007 16:03 GMT | 8 |
Has anyone here ever shortened the axles of a rear differential to bring the rear wheels closer to each other? I was thinking of doing such a thing but I'm just worried that the alignment might not be good after.

| Radiator, heater core sealer. | 18 Oct 2007 04:30 GMT | 3 |
In the past most people thought that the Bar's stop leak in the silver and black bottle was the best. Recently two different NAPA auto parts store managers told me that K&W Nanotechnology was better. It comes in a bright green plastic bottle.

| in line fuel pump for 1997 gmc suburban | 18 Oct 2007 03:07 GMT | 2 |
Has anyone converted their "in gas tank" fuel pump to an "in line" fuel pump? Where could I buy such a fuel pump? How well does it work? It makes a lot more sense than an in gas tank fuel pump if it will work. Comments welcome.

| Brake issue or what? | 18 Oct 2007 03:04 GMT | 3 |
Had a complete front brake overhaul done last July of '06. Pads, calipers, rotors, grease seals... all replaced on both sides. For the last month or more I have had a rather high pitched warbling, squealing sound coming from somewhere most noticeable during highway

[Please pardon a possible duplication of this message.] Mark A., again, your thinking is very old-fashioned when it comes to comparing 0w-30 to 5w-30. As I said, you should consider doing some current reading about the 2 viscocities.

| Car starts, but dies when key returns to ON | 17 Oct 2007 14:49 GMT | 16 |
I drove the car about 20 minutes and parked it. When I came back out, the car would not stay running (but it does crank and start) - it simply dies and if turning the ignition OFF. I turn the key to the ON position and I get *no* dash idiot lights,

| Rename "turn signals?" | 17 Oct 2007 01:54 GMT | 14 |
I think we need to rename "turn" signals to "intent-to-turn" signals. It is getting to be the norm that folks put the signal on AFTER they begin their turn- that is, the car is changing directions when they turn them on. One does not NEED a signal at that point- it is obvious

| Tips on cleaning clogged winshield washer line? | 16 Oct 2007 18:50 GMT | 6 |
My 1998 Civic Hatch has a clogged rear windshield washer in my. There is flow as far as the rearmost coupling on the hatch; if I unplug it, fluid squirts from there. So the clog is somewhere in the last stage, possibly at the nozzle itself. Nothing gets through whatsoever.

| auto parts returns/advanced auto | 16 Oct 2007 04:14 GMT | 13 |
What is the deal with the auto parts stores and their return/refund policies? They seem to be much more resistant to giving refunds when compared to other businesses, and was wondering if the "powers that be" of certain big chains put pressure on the individual store
