Headlight question: 1996 camaro z2811 Oct 2007 22:21 GMT20
This car eats headlights.  For those of you not familiar, this car has a 4 bulb system.  It burns out probably 3-4 low-beams in a year.
This ain't cheap at $25/pop for these 4351 sealed beam units.
Can anyone recommend a cheaper, possibly higher performance conversion option?
Thanks ...

I have a 1984 Chevy K-20.  350 engine, 4-speed gearbox.  (Also has a
PTO to run a dump bed and a winch.) Just yesterday I noticed that
going around corners (left or right) the rear wheels seem to be
"sticking," that is they chirp a little like they're not rotating

Two space parking11 Oct 2007 14:49 GMT28
I can understand owners of new vehicles parking across two spaces in a
parking lot, so others will not ding or scratch finish when opening
doors.
BUT- in my opinion these folks should park out on the end of the rows
possible for bad tire to act like a warped rotor?11 Oct 2007 06:01 GMT13
Just curious, I got a new set of tires on my company car last week and
since then a shimmy under braking that I'd attributed to a warped rotor
is completely gone.  Is it possible that bad tires could cause this?  I
doubt it was overtightened lug nuts as the whole impetus for the ...

great for ecu codes, but now that site is borked.

again for about 1/4 mile then when I step on the gas it dies again but
will idle down the street fine for a time but eventually stop again.
Getting rid of air pockets after replacing the front brake disc pads09 Oct 2007 17:51 GMT24
When I opened up the caliper to replace the disc pad, a lot of the
brake fluid was drained from the caliper's chamber when I squeezed the
piston back in place. I notice that there was a air valve stub on the
top of the inner caliper. At the time I didn't know what it was for.
