2008 Saab Turbo09 Oct 2007 05:31 GMT3
Thirty years ago, Saab chose the Frankfurt auto show to unveil a new
performance model. That car was the Saab 99 Turbo, Saab's first
attempt at using turbocharging to pump up engine performance, and it
gave the little hatchback more than 140 horsepower. Limited color

Camshaft position sensor 2004 dodge intrepid08 Oct 2007 16:10 GMT4
Any idea on the labor on replacing camshaft position sensor on 2004 dodge intrepid SE (2.7L V6)?
My father-in-law's Intrepid is occasionally stumbling, sometimes just turns off, and is throwing P0340 and P0344.
Thanks,

Prices of ignitors08 Oct 2007 16:08 GMT2
Don't need an igniter, but, was looking at one of the car-parts web sites
and couldn't believe the price of ignitors.  They want $ 3-400 each.  They
are the size of a small match box.  Can there really be more electronics
inside than in a Ipod or similar consumer device?  Are ...
car tilting08 Oct 2007 09:12 GMT31
Can anyone please explain why a car tilts towards the outside of a
circle unlike a motorcycle which tilts towards the inside of a
circle?  There's both centripetal force but the roll/tilting is
different.
Free Motor Oil07 Oct 2007 23:29 GMT25
In my local paper is an O'Reilly ad offering a maximum of
6 quarts of Quaker State oil (Q Torque and Q Advance) for /free/
after rebate.  Each quart is regularly $5.69.
Q Torque and Q Advance are the good stuff, the synthetic Quaker State.

linkage between the ignition switch and the key cylinder on a '97
Taurus. This a plastic 2-piece arm that is connected with a link to
accomodate the tilt steering wheel. I am totally stymied as to how to
Heater core replace?  (Town car)07 Oct 2007 03:56 GMT5

Car Insurance a Small Step to Get a Big Service07 Oct 2007 02:48 GMT1
Compared to the Titanic tragedy, the crash of a car may stand nowhere.
But this does not diminish the disaster that will befall you if ever
your car meets with an accident...

unscrewing07 Oct 2007 02:09 GMT2
I bought a used car, and I can't seem to unscrew one of the screws
in the back license plate holder.  The screw turns around, but it
never comes closer to coming out.  Any ideas?
Shop software07 Oct 2007 01:58 GMT1
Currently I've been using Winworks. I've been dabbling around with the
RepairWriter2 demo version for a few weeks now trying to learn the
ropes. It seems decent, and I may just jump ship. Just curious to know
what the rest of you use; what's hot and what's not. I'm open to
Look for standard name of an auto part07 Oct 2007 00:13 GMT7
This is a small pad, always attaching to the key ring together with
the key.  There are two or more buttons on this pad, for locking and
unlocking the door, and opening the trunk respectively.  My daughter
lost this pad for her car, but she is not around.  I have to order a
Engine specs website?06 Oct 2007 18:46 GMT12
Anyone know of a good engine spec website? Looking for machining
dimensions. Bore and stroke are easy enough, but things like deck
height, main and rod journals, small rod end size etc.
Or a book somewhere out there if nothing exists on the web.
error code: transmission problem06 Oct 2007 05:30 GMT2
I had an engine error code about a week ago on my 98 civic. I took it
to the mechanic, he read the code, which said there was a transmission
problem: incorrect gear ratio. He checked the transmission fluid,
which was alright, and said the code was likely wrong, it would be
Glass mounted window regulator channels?06 Oct 2007 05:27 GMT3
Just got off the phone with a guy who owns a '90 K2500 Chevy P/U. He
said he hit a bump and both windows dropped into the doors. I had him
look into the door and he says he can see the regulator moving but the
channels are rusted. Looking in my crash book and on a couple parts
