Ok, time for an update.
Per the discussion here prior, I tried resoldering all the connections
on my IPC.  Actually, I resoldered everything, but only on the circuit
board that didn't have the VFDs on it.

Camry is 99 4 cyl LE 95000 miles. Whenever car sits for more than 5-6
hours in cold or damp conditions, it will not start or sputter  and
die. It will start if  gas pedal is floored.
Car runs like a dream and starts normally in warm conditions.

my experience with various brands of shocks/struts:
1) Sachs/Boge.  Installed a full set of "Turbo Gas" struts on my '84 GTI

I have a 1994 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup and I'm suspecting the fan is not
working properly. Driving to and from work the engine smells a hot and

my 1998 dodge stratus has the abs light on now. i was told that everything
should work fine other than the abs part of the brakes. the car now is

I've got an '89 Toyota Cressida, and the cushion foam material that
covers the steering wheel has gotten soft/saggy & cracked where there
has been the most hand contact.

Some years ago, a mechanic "pulls the plug" so my car's speedometer
stops.  It's been left like this for quite a few months before it's
pluged back in.

On a 94 Beretta with a 6 cylinder engine there is a radiator bypass hose
going from the water outlet to the coolant reservoir that runs hot coolant
into the reservoir. Will someone please tell me why the bypass hose is
