Transmission Damage Due To Wrong Fluid05 Nov 2007 18:09 GMT1
Assuming that I have a WC T5, is it possible that the use of 70W gear
oil in the transmission could lead to transmission noise or damage? I
have noticed a particular noise from the transmission whenever the
vehicle is in motion above about 30 MPH. The vehicle is driven mostly

My 2002 Ford E150 van wears out its front brake pads at about 20,000

appears to me that the front brakes are constantly engaged, to some
degree, on the rotor and are constantly wearing some.

Heating rusty bolts03 Nov 2007 15:03 GMT9
While an oxy-acetylene torch is great at heating rusty bolts to get
them loose, are there any decent equivalents for the home mechanic?
I've seen some impossible to move nuts and bolts easily removed after
heated red hot, but don't know what alternatives would be worthwhile.

2001 Kia Optima, 91,000 miles. Owned for 2 1/2 years.

On a 1995 Camaro Z28, let's say the windows are rolled down all the

it stops. If I press the up button again (immediately), the window

car with best ratio of perceived sexiness to cost?02 Nov 2007 20:16 GMT9
No point in being coy about what I'm looking for :)  Everyone knows
there are certain cars that people look at -- do we really have to be
P.C. and say "people"? -- that women look at, and think "money".  What
are some of the most cost-efficient cars out there that trigger that
