Switched power window door with non power window door...need help     with a few problems...22 Apr 2008 19:23 GMT2
I recently bought a new door for my 98' Mercury Tracer LS because the
other door got messed up in an accident.  The new door doesn't have
power windows like the old one but I didn't mind because I figured it
would just be my door.  But after putting on the new door I found out

I have a 2000 Mercury Cougar & everytime it rains my passenger side floor
board is ALWAYS soaked, i mean there's always @ least a couple of inches of

just cant seem to figure out where it's leaking...

sensor...I can trick vehicle to run rich at 0.9 volt.
This is a 1984 Bosch LH II system, which currently is only using the

Location of Temp. Sensor/Fan Relay on '90 Acura Legend22 Apr 2008 01:16 GMT1
My fan won't kick on after a good long run on the hiway. After the
exit ramp and cutting down to 35mph (from about 55-65 mph) my 1990
Legend will start to creep up to the hot mark and stay there unless
I'm moving steadily at a good clip. I don't hear the fan come on and
shorter, softer than normal shocks avail?21 Apr 2008 17:12 GMT5
I have a street rod that is using rear shocks that are from a 66
mustang -- this is a bayonett style unit with specs that are pretty
typical....a lot of cars use this.  the ride is way, way too harsh on
poorly maintained roads.  the springs are quite soft...so soft that

after a bumping a curb (sliding sideways), a fwd drive car makes a low-
pitch wallowing sound at the rear.  the tires were replaced and an
alignment was performed.  this resolved other issues, but the sound
persists.  the dealer did a precise alignment on top of the local
SBC manual/auto cranks?20 Apr 2008 07:34 GMT1
My 1990 1/2 ton made a new noise today, sounded like valvetrain
problems... then it went away.  But that's somewhat irrelevant for right
now - but it got me thinking if I had to replace the motor in it - it's
a stickshift.  If I was to borrow the smallblock from my race car (GM
Shock Absorber Stem Nut - Jeep Cherokee19 Apr 2008 18:40 GMT5
There is an odd nut that came off one of the front shocks on my 1990
Jeep Cherokee. It comes out of the top of the shocks and through the
top of the front wheel well. The manual calls it a "shock absorber
stem nut". I need a replacement for it and the bushing it hold in

Can someone tell me where the thermal fan switch is located on the 3-
cylinder 1 liter used in the 94 Geo Metro or Suzuki Swift?
I was trying to tell someone but I've never worked on one.  I'd
suspect it to be on one end of the intake?
